TOOL TIME – PLEASE SHARE WITH ME

I was recently reflecting on the fact that I’m legitimately starting to feel like one of the “old” people at work (granted I work by myself in my home, so technically I am the youngest person in the office still).

In fact, last month in the MEETING PLANNER NEWSLETTER, I shared the following:

I’m going to be blatantly honest – I am finally starting to feel old when it comes to some of the new advances in technology.

Up to this point, I have either been highly active in adopting new technology, or been able to catch on faster than most with anything new that’s hitting the market. I have to say, however, that all of the AI conversations are starting to overwhelm me.

ARE YOU IN THE SAME BOAT? Then let’s check out this article together!

7 A.I. Tips and Techniques for Novices

https://www.meetingsnet.com/event-tech-virtual-meetings/7-ai-tips-and-techniques-novices

Being in my early 40s now, this is the first time in my career that I’m in the “middle” of knowing how to do a lot, but not knowing how to do everything that’s new. CAN YOU RELATE????

Additionally, I have the disadvantage of working from home alone (which let’s be honest – rocks!!), so I no longer absorb or observe skills from co-workers that I used to really appreciate and value when I worked in an office. The things I used to know how to do with Excel were pretty exciting… spreadsheets get everyone pumped up – everyone knows that.

So, this month I’m reaching out to you! Tell me what programs or tools you’ve been using to make life easier… or even better…. make those sales numbers grow!

I’ll start!

A year ago I started using a tool called Toggle. Heard of it? It’s amazing!

It has made my time tracking for billable work so much faster than the spreadsheets I had always used before. Even though my time tracking isn’t complicated, Toggle has helped me easily see that I’m hitting my daily goals in billable time AND the the time I spend organizing all the hours and projects when it comes to invoicing is essentially eliminated.

NOW IT’S YOUR TURN!!! TELL ME WHAT TOOLS HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR YOU AND I’LL SHARE THEM IN NEXT MONTH’S NEWSELTTER; PLUS I WANT TO TRY THESE RESOURCES OUT!
