Good conference – affordable registration fee is good but not as well attended as I would have liked so less networking opportunities.

I was completely satisfied with the Lecturers, Staff, and Vendors. I cannot think of anything that could make this Seminar more beneficial and friendly for those in attendance. As life and learning change, Present Learning has captured a most beneficial way of providing continuing education. It is worth every minute, and dollar, away from your practice.

The scratch off tickets are a great idea and it did create traffic, but there just weren’t enough docs there in general to make traffic a possibility.

One of the worst shows I’ve ever had in 20 years of podiatry shows. Virtually no exhibit hall traffic compared to other smaller sized shows.

The cost to exhibitors in relation to the amount of docs in attendance is not balanced. I realize the cost to physicians is low, but that should – in turn – produce more physician bodies, and they weren’t there this time around.

Las Vegas was very good. Good quality of lectures. The Phoenix conference at the attendance numbers down I think due to some problems within the Veterans Administration but otherwise extremely well-run.

The meeting was well organized. Speakers were excellent with regards to topics presented. All were well versed in their topics, all were willing to take extra time to discuss questions and the “”pearls”” that are often hard to come by as a new or nearly new Podiatrist. All lectures were pertinent to every day practice and well attended. I do not think any Doctor left without taking away something new and beneficial to their practice. The vendors present organized and presented each day a lecture (half one day, other half the next), on their products. Each vendor made his or her presentation in a small lecture hall that was an excellent way for passing along information. Doctors received the most up to date information on new modalities available. I personally found this a wonderful way to decide whom to visit further. It was a very easy way to learn about all the new therapies available. No pressure to buy, but certainly an excellent way to decide what I needed in my practice and were to spend my time and money efficiently. Traveling to lectures often makes finding good meals difficult. You don’t learn when your anxious and hungry. For me this was a high point that I did not expect. Every day an excellent breakfast and lunch was provided. No running around looking for something in a strange place. It made time for interaction with other Podiatrists that was an unexpected benefit. Lecturers, staff, and everyone involved made this one of the most useful Programs I have attended in my 30 years. Present Learning Conferences are worth every penny.

I’m always impressed with the quality and knowledge shared by our colleagues at this event. It’s an annual event that I look forward too. Support Staff is always friendly and colleagues are very resourceful. Keep up the excellent work and keep promoting Podiatry very good exhibitors this year.

The lecturer’s were superb. The information presented was both timely and practice oriented. The command of their topics was noticeable within the first minute. The many “pearls” of practice that almost every presenter offered was invaluable. Every lecture given utilized efficient slides and handouts to pass along quality updates.

Present Learning went above and beyond in providing a hot, delicious breakfast and lunch. The fact that it was immediately adjacent to the lecture hall took all the stress out of finding an excellent meal was a huge plus. It probably saved me over a $100 and indigestion.

The hotel is off the strip and away from the action. Would have preferred location to be closer to strip so that I could network more with others outside the conference. The hotel pool was also closed at the time of the conference. However, meeting space was large and clean, very modern.

The opportunity to visit with each Vendor in an organized lecture room provided an efficient way for every attendee to get the up to date information so necessary in making wise purchases for their practice. It also gave each Vendor to pass along the valuable aspects of their wares. A benefit was that each attendee received a scratch off card that often came with unexpected prizes.
