EXHIBITOR COMMENTS
Overall Satisfaction Comments
Overall satisfied. That may change if hall traffic continues to diminish.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
It wasn’t our best show for sure. The New York is for us, the best Podiatry meeting going. It feel short this year. But then again, it seems most of the podiatry meetings are on the down slope.
Podiatry meeting organizers in general have to figure out a way to get the younger clinicians involved and attending the conferences
-2020 EXHIBITOR
To be honest, Podiatry really needs to take a hard look at their meetings. There are too many. The attendance is suffering, thus vendors are seeing less ROI and value for attending. Again, I reference the Midwest Podiatry Conference. Used to be our best conference by far, now it’s a shadow of its former self. Attendees need to engage exhibitors more. After all, we are paying for the meeting – for the most part. SAM is always up and down. NYSPMA is our best podiatry conference at this point in time.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Lots of great contacts were made
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Very expensive but by far the best meeting for a vendor in the country. Not as good as it once was but booth traffic is consistent for 3 straight days.

PHYSICIAN/ATTENDEE COMMENTS
I’ve been to meetings in other parts of the country where there was more chance for social interaction-cocktail party, sit down lunch…

REVIEW SPECIFIC CATEGORY COMMENTS
EXHIBITOR REVIEW CATEGORIES
Meeting was well organized and all participants were kept well informed.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
Well organized
-2020 EXHIBITOR
The conferences in general are organized well and communication is good.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Great location.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
In the 15 years I have attended, the turnout this year seemed to be very light. Possibly the lowest I have seen.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
Attendance at Podiatry meetings has dwindled in recent years. Nowhere near what it used to be. They need to incentivize docs to attend. Either by offering more credits they cannot get online, financially insentience them, or make attendance mandatory for certain state meetings. The ROI for vendors is not there for a majority of meetings, thus less exhibitors each year. The Midwest conference is a prime example.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Would be nice to see it moved out of the city every so often to get better attendance from non borough doctors
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Traffic seemed slow for a vast majority of the time.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
2020 was my 17th year exhibiting. Traffic is good but the last 3 years it seems to be getting slower. I’m seeing a decent shift in area doctors going to other conferences.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
Most meetings don’t encourage attendees to visit the exhibit hall. Traffic for the most part is very low except times when they serve lunch in the hall.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Great booth location for our organization
-2019 EXHIBITOR
The amount of exhibiting time is very adequate. Frankly, I don’t see a need for half day on Sunday. Pretty much a wasted day.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
Could cut Saturday hours back.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
9:30-5:30 with lunch and 2 breaks is perfect.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
Too many days and too many hours. Three days and 8-5 hall hours are too much and a waste of time. Take a page from the SAWC or WOCN conferences. They go 3 hours a day with no sessions scheduled during 11-2 and have lunch in the hall. Vendors are packed with attendees and have great conversations during this time. They stress quality of visit over quantity of hall time. It’s about ROI for vendors.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
No need for Sunday hours; should start show Thursday early afternoon and end Saturday by 6:00pm.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Some doctors seemed confused by schedules, requirements to obtain CE and processes to check in
-2019 EXHIBITOR
No issues.
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Good visibility options
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Considering the venue, it’s reasonable for a meeting in New York.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
Expensive but still worth it.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
Most conferences are fair and reasonable
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Good ROI
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Expensive but its expected for NYC.
-2020 EXHIBITOR
No issues
-2019 EXHIBITOR
Again, an out of city option every other year might help with costs
